Mipa Zinc Alu Aerosol
Mipa Zinc Alu Aerosol is a premium zinc-aluminium corrosion protection coating designed to provide long-lasting protection for steel and ferrous metal surfaces. Combining the sacrificial protection of zinc with the attractive appearance of aluminium, it is ideal for repairing damaged galvanised coatings and protecting bare metal against rust and corrosion. The silver-grey finish closely matches hot-dip galvanised steel, making it perfect for visually blending repaired areas.
Formulated to comply with DIN EN ISO 1461, Mipa Zinc Alu Aerosol is particularly suited to refinishing hot-dip galvanised components and restoring corrosion protection after fabrication or repair. The high-performance coating offers outstanding resistance to moisture, chemicals and weathering, achieving over 450 hours of salt spray resistance in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9227. It is also heat resistant up to 300°C, can be spot welded and may be overcoated with compatible Mipa 1K paint systems where required.
The fast-drying aerosol provides excellent adhesion and a smooth, even finish, making it ideal for automotive, commercial vehicle, industrial and fabrication applications. Whether protecting welds, repairing galvanised panels or coating fabricated steelwork, Mipa Zinc Alu Aerosol delivers professional-grade corrosion protection with a durable metallic appearance.
