1. Our Commitment

At Independent Paint Supplies Ltd, we are committed to delivering your orders quickly, safely, and reliably. The information below explains how our delivery process works, including available shipping options, timescales, and important details for hazardous goods.

2. Shipping Options & Costs

• Standard Delivery: Free next working day delivery on orders over £75 (excluding VAT).
• Standard Delivery (under £75): Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on order weight and location.
• Express or Timed Delivery: Available for an additional fee. Please contact our customer service team for availability and pricing.
• Order Cut-Off Time: Orders placed before 2:00pm are dispatched the same working day for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 2:00pm will be dispatched the following working day.

3. Delivery Areas

• We deliver to addresses across Wales, England, and Scotland.
• We currently do not offer international delivery.
• Please note that some remote postcodes, Scottish Highlands, and offshore areas (e.g. Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland) may require an additional delivery charge or extended delivery time.

4. Courier Services

We use reliable, professional courier partners such as Parcelforce and other trusted carriers to ensure your orders arrive safely and on time. All orders are securely packaged for transit, and hazardous materials are shipped using ADR-compliant methods.

5. Hazardous & Restricted Goods

• Many of our products — including paints, aerosols, and thinners — are classified as hazardous or flammable goods.
• These items can only be shipped via specialist couriers and may be subject to delivery restrictions or surcharges depending on your location.
• We are unable to ship hazardous goods by air, to PO Boxes, or to certain offshore destinations.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing tracking details so you can monitor your delivery status online.

7. Delivery Times

• Standard delivery: 1–2 working days (subject to stock availability and location).
• Express delivery: Same or next working day, depending on location and courier cut-off times.
• Deliveries are made Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Saturday delivery is available on request at an additional cost.

8. Delivery Issues

• Delayed Deliveries: While we strive for next-day delivery, delays may occasionally occur due to courier or weather issues. If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us and we will investigate promptly.
• Damaged Packages: Please check your order on arrival. If any item arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours of receipt, including photos of the packaging and product. We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
• Incorrect or Missing Items: If any items are missing from your order, please contact us within 48 hours so we can resolve the issue quickly.

9. Click & Collect

We offer a convenient Click & Collect service from our Swansea and Cardiff locations:

• Select Click & Collect at checkout.
• You will receive an email confirmation once your order is ready for collection.
• Please bring your order confirmation and a form of ID when collecting.

10. Failed Delivery Attempts

• If no one is available to receive your delivery, the courier may attempt re-delivery or leave a calling card.
• If the parcel is returned to us after failed delivery attempts, we may charge for re-delivery.

11. Responsibility & Liability

• Risk passes to you once goods are delivered to the delivery address provided. Please ensure your address details are correct when ordering.
• We cannot be held responsible for delays outside our control, including courier disruption, extreme weather, or public holidays.
