Returns Policy

At Independent Paint Supplies, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with our products. If you need to return an item, please review our comprehensive returns policy below:

Eligibility for Returns

  • Time Frame: Items must be returned within 14 days of the purchase date.
  • Condition: Items must be in their original, unused condition and packaging. We cannot accept returns for products that have been used or damaged after delivery.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Custom mixed colours cannot be returned as they are specially created to your specifications. PPE also cannot be returned due to hygiene.

Return Process

  1. Contact Customer Service: Before returning any item, please contact our customer service team at sales@ipspaint.co.uk or 01792 784078 to initiate the return process. Provide your order number, item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  2. Approval: Once your return request is approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  3. Packaging: Ensure the item(s) are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. Include the RMA number inside the package.
  4. Shipping: Send the package to the address provided by our customer service team. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

Refunds

  • Processing Time: Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item(s) and notify you of the status of your refund within 5 business days.
  • Method: Approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment. It may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account depending on your payment provider.
  • Restocking Fee: A restocking fee may apply for certain items, which will be communicated during the return process.

Exchanges

  • If you wish to exchange an item for a different product, please follow the return process to return the original item and place a new order for the desired product.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact our customer service team on receipt of the order. We will arrange for a replacement or issue a refund as appropriate.
