Baslac 80-30 Plastic Additive

Baslac 80-30 Plastic Additive is a professional adhesion-promoting additive developed for use with Baslac wet-on-wet primer fillers when refinishing automotive plastic components. Specially formulated for use on all paintable plastics, it improves adhesion while providing the flexibility required for durable, long-lasting repairs on modern plastic vehicle parts.

Designed as part of the Baslac refinishing system, 80-30 is used in place of the standard reducer when mixing compatible Baslac wet-on-wet primer fillers. It creates a strong bond to plastic substrates while maintaining excellent sprayability, smooth application and consistent film build, ensuring the ideal foundation for subsequent basecoat and clearcoat application.

Suitable for use on most paintable automotive plastics including bumpers, mirror housings, trims and mouldings, Baslac 80-30 can also be applied over adjacent e-coated metal panels where required, simplifying the repair process. Please note that it is not recommended for use on polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE), as sufficient adhesion cannot be achieved on these substrates.
