Churchill Fibreglass Matting
Churchill Fibreglass Matting is a high-quality chopped strand mat (CSM) designed to provide strength, reinforcement and durability when used with polyester or vinyl ester resins. Suitable for a wide range of automotive, marine, industrial and GRP repair applications, it forms a strong laminate that is ideal for repairing damaged fibreglass panels, rebuilding structural sections and manufacturing composite components.
Manufactured from randomly orientated glass fibres held together with a resin-soluble binder, the mat offers excellent resin absorption, fast wet-out and outstanding conformity to complex shapes and contours. This makes it easy to laminate over curved surfaces while producing a strong, durable finished repair with excellent mechanical strength.
Ideal for use in conjunction with fibreglass resin, Churchill Fibreglass Matting is widely used for repairing vehicle body panels, boats, caravans, trailers, roofing, mouldings and general GRP fabrication. Whether carrying out small cosmetic repairs or larger structural laminating work, it provides the reinforcement needed to create long-lasting, professional-quality repairs.
