Damien has been part of Independent Paint Supplies since the very beginning and is, without question, one of the most loved members of the team. Known for his infectious smile and endlessly positive attitude, Damien brings warmth and laughter to every single day at IPS. No task is ever too much trouble, and he’s always the first to offer a helping hand to anyone who needs it. Quite simply, the place wouldn’t be the same without him.

Based at our Swansea branch, Damien plays a vital role in keeping the warehouse and paint department running smoothly. Each morning, he’s there helping the drivers load their vans, keeping spirits high, and making sure the warehouse is spotless and organised. He also assists the paint team with aerosol preparation and clean-up, ensuring everything operates efficiently. And of course, he’s proudly earned his title as “King of the Can Crusher,” taking charge of all the empty tins before they pile up!

Damien’s kind heart, reliability, and good humour make him a true gentleman and an irreplaceable part of the IPS family. Even on the rainiest Welsh morning, it’s impossible not to smile when Damien’s around.

A passionate football fan, Damien follows both Swansea City and Manchester United. One of his proudest moments came when Swansea City legend Nathan Dyer visited the branch to meet him — the two hit it off straight away, even enjoying a quick kick-about in the loading area! Nathan was so impressed by Damien’s Swansea City tattoo that he’s kept in touch ever since, even sending him birthday wishes — a special memory for a very special member of our team.

Do you have a nickname (and how did you get it)? Pasty calls me Arthur- because when I make a cup of tea for him I only fill it half way. So he now calls me Arthur (half-a-cup)
What is your go-to karaoke song on a team night out? Life is Life- Opus
What's your guilty pleasure snack or drink during a long day at work? Galaxy chocolate!
What's one tool or product you couldn't live without in work? The paint tin crusher. It makes our lives easier and keeps the place clean
What would we find you doing on a Sunday morning? Going to my local church
