Derek has been part of Independent Paint Supplies since the very beginning, joining the team in 2019 after transferring from FMP Motor Factors. With a wealth of experience in the industry and an incredible network of loyal customers, Derek has become a familiar and trusted face across West Wales — representing IPS with pride and professionalism every day.

As Business Development Manager for the region, Derek covers everything from Ammanford down to Aberystwyth and beyond, visiting customers daily to ensure they receive the very best in products, pricing, and service. His reputation precedes him — known for his reliability, product knowledge, and genuine commitment to doing what’s right for his customers, many of whom have worked with him for years.

With his friendly approach and dedication to helping businesses succeed, Derek continues to strengthen IPS’s presence across West Wales, acting as a key link between our branches and our valued customers. He’s a true team player and a huge asset to the company.

Outside of work, Derek’s larger-than-life personality really shines — he’s the life and soul of any team night out, never one to shy away from a karaoke mic, and always ready to deliver his signature Elvis performance to round off the evening in style.
