Director

Dominic, known to most as Dom, is one of the founding Directors of Independent Paint Supplies, having helped establish the company back in 2019. With a strong background at FMP Motor Factors, Dom has truly done it all — from van driving and warehouse work to running the accounts department and managing social media. That hands-on experience has given him an invaluable understanding of every part of the business.

At IPS, Dom’s main focus is on finance and marketing, where he oversees everything from managing the books to creating eye-catching flyers, social media content, and marketing materials. His creativity and drive were recognised nationally in 2022, when he was named one of the Bodyshop Magazine 30 Under 30 winners at the prestigious ICC Wales by the Celtic Manor Hotel— an award he proudly shared with fellow Director, Joe Morgan-Thomas.

Dom played a major role in the successful launch of the Cardiff branch in 2022, and more recently, he’s been the driving force behind the development of the brand-new IPS website. You’ll often find him working between the Swansea and Cardiff branches, motivating the team, pushing new ideas, and constantly looking for ways to take IPS to the next level — no matter how bold or ambitious the idea might be!

Standing just shy of 6ft 6, Dom is quite literally a towering presence in the team — known for his enthusiasm, ambition, and relentless commitment to making Independent Paint Supplies the best it can be.

Most proud moment at IPS? Winning our team awards including Supply Chain Business Of The Year at the Bodyshop Awards in Birmingham in 2023, and Trade & Construction Business Of The Year at the Swansea Bay Business Awards in 2024.
Tell us an interesting fact about you? At 11:35am on 21st September 2025, I was the highest point in Wales (While standing at the top of Snowdon!)
What's your favourite quote you've ever been told? Be 1% better today than you were yesterday. This time next year, you'll be 365 times a better person!

What's one thing on your bucket list you have to tick off in the next five years? Spending Christmas in Lapland skiing!
