Accounts Administrator
Jan joined Independent Paint Supplies in May 2023, stepping into the role of Accounts Administrator and quickly becoming an essential part of the team. With a strong administration background and excellent organisational skills, Jan took on what is undoubtedly one of the busiest positions in the company — and has handled it with complete confidence and professionalism from day one.
Working three days a week, Jan manages both the purchase and sales ledgers, keeping everything in perfect order and ensuring the accounts department runs smoothly. She’s meticulous in her work and has built up fantastic relationships with suppliers and customers alike — her friendly approach and polite persistence mean everyone enjoys dealing with her. Always willing to go the extra mile, Jan is constantly looking for ways to take on additional tasks and help lighten the load for others, making her a truly valuable member of the IPS family.
Beyond the spreadsheets, Jan has a real passion for travel and loves to tick items off her bucket list. She’s recently been on some incredible adventures — including an unforgettable safari in Kenya — and her stories (and photos!) always bring a bit of sunshine into the office.
A consummate professional with a warm, positive personality, Jan is a huge asset to the company and a joy to work alongside.

- What's one tool, product or piece of kit you couldn't live without? My pen! The amount of ink I get through is baffling
- What's your go-to karaoke song on a team night out? You really don't want to hear me sing! I wasn't allowed in the school choir as my singing was soooo bad.
- What's one thing on your bucket list you have to tick off in the next five years? I really don't think I would ever do it, but I saw hang gliders over the Dolomites in Italy which looked amazing to do. You never know...
