Director

Joe is one of the founding Directors of Independent Paint Supplies, helping to establish the company back in 2019. Before launching IPS, Joe built a wealth of experience at FMP Motor Factors, working across multiple areas of the business — from delivery driving and warehouse operations to the paint department, business development, and branch management. During his time there, Joe played a key role in the successful set-up of FMP’s Carmarthen and Llanelli branches, showcasing his ability to lead, plan, and deliver growth.

At IPS, Joe’s primary focus is on sales and business development, overseeing everything from supplier relationships and pricing strategy to product selection and team management. His exceptional drive and commitment were recognised on a national stage in 2022, when he was named one of Bodyshop Magazine’s 30 Under 30 at the Cardiff Celtic Manor Hotel — an honour he proudly shared with fellow Director, Dominic Thomas.

Joe’s days are spent travelling between the Swansea and Cardiff branches, meeting with customers, and supporting IPS’s business development managers on the road. He is passionate about building strong, long-term relationships with both customers and suppliers, ensuring IPS continues to offer top-quality products at competitive prices.

Known for his professionalism, calm leadership, and hands-on approach, Joe is a driving force behind IPS’s continued growth — setting the standard for excellence in everything he does.
