Josh
Colour Technician
Josh has been part of the Independent Paint Supplies team since the very beginning, joining us in 2022 as the company’s first delivery driver for our newly opened Cardiff branch. Having already been a familiar face — and even a customer — before joining IPS, Josh’s passion for paint and attention to detail made him the perfect fit. (You might have even seen our popular nail varnish colour match video- this is his wife's paint!)
After a successful year in Cardiff, Josh relocated to Swansea with his wife, and IPS knew we didn’t want to lose him. A brand-new opportunity was created for Josh to step into the role of Colour Technician, a position that matched his natural precision and patience. His perfectionist streak quickly proved invaluable — ensuring every mix and match met the highest IPS standards. With the introduction of automated mixing machines, Josh has continued to refine the process, helping the Swansea branch maintain peak efficiency while delivering flawless results.
Josh is known for his work ethic, reliability, and great sense of humour, always ready to lend a hand wherever he’s needed. Whether he’s in the lab perfecting a shade or cracking jokes with the team, he brings the same energy and positivity to everything he does.
A true all-rounder, Josh is an integral part of the Swansea branch, and his dedication to quality and teamwork makes him one of the unsung heroes keeping IPS running smoothly — one perfect colour match at a time.
