Katie joined Independent Paint Supplies in 2021 as part of the company’s plan to expand its Sales Team in Swansea — and she’s been a burst of energy ever since. Having previously owned a local bodyshop, Katie was already a familiar face to the IPS team, speaking with us daily and bringing a deep understanding of both our products and our customers’ needs. Her transition to IPS felt completely natural, and she quickly became one of the most recognisable and well-loved voices on the phones.

Known for her fantastic colour matching skills, Katie plays a vital role in ensuring our customers achieve the perfect finish every time. She’s particularly skilled with the Octoral Colour Maps, using them daily to guarantee accurate and reliable results. Katie often features in our social media videos, showing off her expertise and giving customers a behind-the-scenes look at the weird and wonderful colours she matches.

Friendly, approachable, and full of life, Katie has built brilliant relationships with both customers and colleagues alike. She’s always up for a laugh, keeps the energy high in the branch, and is never afraid to roll up her sleeves to get things done.

Outside of work, Katie is well known as the life and soul of the party — usually the last one standing at a team night out. With her trademark ginger curls and contagious personality, she’s a big personality — and an essential part of what makes the IPS Swansea team so special.

What's your guilty pleasure snack or drink during a long day at work? Coffee- ALWAYS coffee
What's one tool, product or piece of kit you couldn't live without? Colour chips, obviously! Daily work life would be very difficult without them
