Branch Manager (Cardiff Branch)

Louis joined Independent Paint Supplies in May 2022, playing a key role in the company’s ambitious plans to open its second branch in Cardiff just two months later. With several years of experience working for local competitors, Louis brought with him a wealth of knowledge of the Cardiff area, its customers, and the industry, making him an invaluable addition to the team from day one.

Right from the start, Louis hit the ground running. His strong local connections and proactive approach helped IPS quickly establish a presence in Cardiff, gaining loyal customers and building the branch into the thriving operation it is today. Initially joining as the main salesperson for the branch alongside Directors Dom and Joe on the phones, Louis has worked tirelessly to promote the IPS name and deliver the high level of service the company is known for.

In 2024, Louis was officially promoted to Branch Manager — a role he’s taken on with enthusiasm and dedication. From warehouse operations and van coordination to customer service, shop sales, and phone support, there’s not much Louis doesn’t get involved in. His “hands-on” attitude and willingness to go above and beyond make him a huge asset to both the branch and the wider IPS team.

A proud Cardiff City fan, Louis takes the friendly Swansea-vs-Cardiff rivalry in his stride, bringing plenty of humour, passion, and pride to his role every single day.

What's your proudest moment (inside or outside of work)? Being named Branch Manager, and the birth of my son
What's one thing on your bucket list you have to tick off in the next five years? Taking my son to watch Cardiff City (unfortunately)
