Nigel joined Independent Paint Supplies in April 2021, becoming a trusted and valued member of the Swansea branch team. Having worked closely with the Directors during his time at FMP Motor Factors, Nigel was one of the key people they wanted on board as IPS began to grow. With his extensive industry knowledge and commitment to doing things the right way, he quickly became an essential part of the company’s success story.

During his years at FMP, Nigel gained hands-on experience across a variety of roles — from warehouse operations and the paint department to telesales and customer support. That all-round understanding has made him an incredible asset at IPS, where his attention to detail and thorough approach ensure that every customer receives the right product and advice, every single time.

From day one, the management team recognised Nigel’s potential, and it wasn’t long before he earned the title of Assistant Branch Manager at Swansea — a position he continues to excel in today. He oversees the branch in Stephanie’s absence, handles customer enquiries and sales emails, and is always willing to get stuck in wherever he’s needed.

Reliable, knowledgeable, and dedicated, Nigel is a key figure within IPS — a steady hand who keeps the Swansea branch running smoothly and a true example of what great service looks like.

Tell us an interesting fact about you that no on would guess? I got married in a castle, and all the Chinese tourists thought I was a celebrity and were taking photos of me!
Tell us a joke- go on, make us laugh! My nan said she was struggling to see the TV, so I bought her one of those magnifying glass things for the screen. She burnt to death the next day after binge watching "A Place In The Sun!"
What's your dream car, van or boat- and what colour would you paint it? Green Citroen Berlingo of course!
What's one thing on your bucket list you have to tick off in the next five years? Pay off my mortgage- then the bucket list starts!
