Sam joined Independent Paint Supplies in July 2023, stepping in to help cover a driving vacancy — and it’s safe to say he’s been a brilliant addition to the team ever since. With his great sense of humour, upbeat personality, and willingness to get stuck into anything, Sam has quickly become one of the most popular members of the IPS crew.

Known for his quick wit and sharp one-liners, Sam keeps everyone laughing both in the branch and in the team WhatsApp group, where his comebacks are legendary. He’s also a regular fixture in our TikTok videos, never afraid to have a laugh or make himself the star of the show. His easy-going attitude and fun-loving personality make him one of the true entertainers of the team — especially on a work night out, where he’s often one of the last ones standing!

Sam covers a wide range of delivery routes, including local, Port Talbot, and Bridgend runs, and even steps in to support the Cardiff branch when needed. No matter what the task, Sam’s approach is always the same — just get it done, and get it done right. His reliability, adaptability, and positive energy make him a huge asset to the company.

There’s only one thing that fuels Sam more than his determination — and that’s coffee. Averaging about five cups a day, he swears it keeps him running at top speed. At this point, we’re pretty sure the caffeine isn’t just in his mug… it’s running through his veins!

What's your go-to karaoke song on a team night out? It used to be "Sweet Caroline", but that's tired now so I'm on to a bubbly "Build Me Up Buttercup" (for now)
What's your guilty pleasure snack or drink during a long day at work? Anything chocolate! Chocolate cake, chocolate biscuits, chocolate cookies, brownies. ANYTHING!
What would we find you doing on a Sunday morning? Either up and about making the most of a free glorious day, or dying in bed from a heavy night before!
If IPS had it's own paint mascot, what should it be? I think he would have to be called Blobby the Paint Patch
What's one thing on your bucket list you have to tick off in the next five years? Tough question, I would have to go to Egypt to see the structures that remain of the old civilisation!
