Sam has been part of Independent Paint Supplies since day one, joining us straight from FMP Motor Factors when the company was founded. Over the years, Sam has proven himself to be IPS’s very own utility man — if this were football, he’s played just about every position on the pitch! His adaptability, work ethic, and positive attitude make him one of the most dependable and respected members of the team.

In the early days, Sam worked in our Swansea branch, before stepping up to help set up the warehouse and paint department at our brand-new Cardiff branch in 2019. He’s now responsible for managing both, ensuring everything runs efficiently and to the highest standard. Known for being incredibly organised and meticulous, Sam takes great pride in his work — his paint room is always spotless, a testament to his professionalism and attention to detail.

While his heart lies in the warehouse and paint room, Sam’s versatility means he’s equally comfortable jumping on the phones or assisting customers with sales. His skill as a top-class paint mixer and storeman has earned him great respect from colleagues and customers alike.

Outside of work, Sam is a talented footballer and passionate long-distance runner, having completed his first marathon in Manchester, a proud moment for the entire IPS team. A loyal Swansea City and Manchester United fan, Sam is as likeable as they come — hardworking, genuine, and an all-round team player through and through.
