3M 150MM Soft 5MM Interface Pad
3M™ Hookit™ Soft Interface Pad 150mm x 5mm Multihole is a professional sanding accessory designed to improve conformability, enhance finish quality, and reduce the risk of sanding through on curved and contoured surfaces. Used between a backing pad and sanding disc, this soft foam interface pad provides additional cushioning, making it an essential tool for precision sanding applications.
By adding a cushioning layer between the backing pad and abrasive disc, the interface pad helps reduce vibration during sanding whilst improving abrasive contact across uneven surfaces. This results in a finer finish, improved sanding control, and reduced risk of burn-through on edges and contours.
The multihole design allows dust to be extracted efficiently through the abrasive and backing pad, helping to maintain a cleaner work surface, improve abrasive performance, and extend disc life. The Hookit™ hook-and-loop attachment system allows for quick and secure installation between compatible Hookit™ discs and backing pads.
