Baslac 80-20 Matt Additive

Baslac 80-20 Matt Additive is a professional flattening agent designed to reduce the gloss level of compatible Baslac topcoats and clearcoats, allowing painters to achieve anything from a subtle satin finish through to a full matt appearance. Developed as part of the Baslac refinishing system, it mixes easily into the coating while maintaining excellent application characteristics and a smooth, uniform finish.

By adjusting the mixing ratio, Baslac 80-20 enables precise control of the final gloss level, making it ideal for refinishing modern OEM matt and satin paint finishes, custom paintwork and specialist repair applications. The additive provides a consistent, even finish without significantly affecting the drying characteristics of the coating when used according to the recommended technical data.

Suitable for both metal and plastic components, Baslac 80-20 can also be used on paintable plastics without the addition of Baslac 80-10 Flex Additive, simplifying the refinishing process while maintaining excellent adhesion and finish quality. For optimum gloss consistency, only prepare the quantity of mixed product required for immediate use, as prolonged storage of the mixture may alter the final gloss level.
