Application and Usage Instructions:

• Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are dry and free from contaminants. Clean using appropriate HMG products to remove all traces of dirt, grease, and other impurities.
• Suitable Substrates: Ideal for mild steel, shot-blasted steel, aluminum, GRP, and galvanized steel. Proper surface preparation, including degreasing and abrasion, is necessary for optimal adhesion.
• Mixing Ratio: Base to Hardener ratio is 2:1. Thinning options include up to 25% Thinner 2600, 2601, 2602, 2603, or 2604 for specific application needs.
• Spray Gun Setup: Recommended nozzle size is 1.1-1.4 mm for conventional spray guns and 1.6-1.8 mm for pressure pots.
• Number of Coats: Apply 1 medium coat followed by 1 full coat, allowing a 10-15 minute flash-off time between coats.
• Drying Time: Touch dry in 30 minutes at 20°C, hard dry in 6-8 hours at 20°C, or 30 minutes at 70°C. Full cure achieved in 5-7 days.
• Recoatability: After thorough curing (8 hours at 20°C or 30 minutes at 70°C), denib with P500 grit dry. After baking, allow to cool before flatting and recoating.
• Pot Life: 1-2 hours at 20°C.
