HMG Speedbuild 1K Primer
HMG Speedbuild 3 Primer is a high-build, high-solids, anti-corrosive 1K primer specifically developed for commercial vehicle, industrial, agricultural, fabrication, and general engineering applications. Designed to provide excellent film build, fast drying performance, and outstanding corrosion protection, Speedbuild 3 Primer delivers a durable foundation for both 1K and 2K topcoat systems. It combines a long wet edge with rapid drying characteristics, making it ideal for large-scale coating projects where ease of application and productivity are essential.
Available from Independent Paint Supplies, HMG Speedbuild 3 Primer is one of the most versatile primers within the HMG industrial coatings range. The high solids formulation provides excellent coverage and build, helping to reduce the number of coats required whilst delivering effective substrate protection. With anti-corrosive pigments built into the coating, it offers dependable protection for steel and fabricated components exposed to demanding environments.
The primer is suitable for a wide range of industrial substrates including steel, GRP, aluminium, and galvanised steel when correctly prepared. It can be overcoated with both single-pack and two-pack topcoats, making it suitable for a variety of coating specifications and finishing systems.
