Novol Fiber Micro Fibreglass Putty
Novol Fiber Micro Glass Fibre Reinforced Polyester Putty is a professional-grade fibreglass filler designed for repairing larger defects, corrosion damage, and heavily damaged panels whilst maintaining excellent flexibility and workability. Reinforced with short glass fibres and advanced elastic polyester resins, Fiber Micro combines exceptional mechanical strength with easier sanding and application than traditional glass fibre fillers, making it ideal for both large repairs and general bodyshop use.
Available from Independent Paint Supplies, Fiber Micro has been developed to bridge holes, reinforce weakened areas, and fill deep imperfections whilst maintaining excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates. Unlike conventional fibreglass fillers, the shorter fibre construction provides improved spreading characteristics and easier finishing, helping technicians achieve strong repairs without excessive effort.
The advanced formulation offers very low shrinkage, allowing larger repairs to be carried out with confidence whilst reducing the risk of sinkage appearing after painting. Its high mechanical strength makes it particularly suitable for repairing rust damage, fibreglass components, welded areas, and structural panel repairs where durability is essential.
Fiber Micro adheres exceptionally well to steel, galvanised steel, aluminium, polyester laminates, existing paintwork, and properly prepared acrylic primers, making it one of the most versatile fillers in the Novol range. Once cured, it sands easily and can be overcoated with polyester fillers, spray polyester fillers, acrylic primers, and epoxy primers.
