Octoral FP141 Universal Surfacer Primer
Octoral FP141 Universal Surfacer is a versatile professional 2K polyurethane primer surfacer developed for small through to large automotive repair work. Offering excellent adhesion across multiple substrates, strong filling performance and flexible application options, FP141 is an ideal primer solution for busy bodyshops and professional refinishing environments.
The FP141 range can be used over a variety of correctly prepared automotive substrates, including OEM e-coat, existing paint systems, GRP and polyester surfaces. It can also be used over small areas of bare metal, with Octoral recommending PW170 Washprimer where maximum durability and corrosion protection are required.
One of the key advantages of FP141 is its versatility. Depending on the required repair process and colour variant, it can be used in sanding or non-sanding applications, allowing the painter to adapt the product to the job. The glossy appearance after drying also means an additional guide coat is not required.

Having three colours available allows the primer shade to be selected to complement the final colour, helping provide a more suitable foundation for subsequent basecoat or topcoat application.
