QTech Gun Pencil Filter

QTech Gun Pencil Filters are professional replacement filters designed for use with the QTech Airless Spray Gun, helping maintain consistent paint flow and reliable spraying performance.

Fitted inside the spray gun, these filters help remove unwanted particles, debris and contaminants from paint before it reaches the spray tip. This helps reduce the risk of spray tip blockages, minimise interruptions and maintain a consistent spray pattern, making them an essential accessory for professional decorators and spray painters.

Available in a choice of four colour-coded mesh grades, QTech Pencil Filters allow you to select the appropriate level of filtration for different coatings and applications.


Available Mesh Sizes

  • Green – 30 Mesh (QF0501030): Coarse filtration, ideal for thicker coatings such as smooth masonry and floor paints.

  • White – 50 Mesh (QF0501050): Medium-coarse filtration, suitable for emulsions, acrylic primers and thicker decorative coatings.

  • Black – 65 Mesh: Medium filtration, offering a balance between paint flow and particle removal. Ideal for general-purpose spraying of emulsions, primers and medium-viscosity coatings.

  • Yellow – 100 Mesh (QF0501100): Fine filtration, ideal for emulsions, water-based eggshells, undercoats and various decorative finishes.

  • Blue – 150 Mesh: Very fine filtration, suitable for thinner coatings requiring a smoother finish, including lacquers, stains, varnishes and fine-finish paints.

  • Red – 200 Mesh (QF0501200): Extra-fine filtration, particularly suited to thinner coatings such as varnishes, lacquers, stains and gloss finishes.

Choosing the Correct Filter
