Quiksteel Steel Reinforced Epoxy Repair Putty
QuikSteel Steel Reinforced Repair Putty is a heavy-duty, mouldable epoxy repair putty designed to provide fast, strong and permanent repairs to a wide variety of materials.
Steel reinforced for maximum strength, QuikSteel can be used on metals, plastics, ceramics, wood and many other surfaces, making it an extremely versatile addition to any workshop, garage or toolbox. The putty is easy to mould and shape by hand, allowing damaged, cracked or leaking areas to be rebuilt before the material cures.
QuikSteel begins to set in approximately 5 minutes and fully cures in around 1 hour. Once cured, it becomes extremely hard and can be treated much like metal – it can be drilled, tapped, machined, filed, sanded and painted to achieve the required final finish.
One of its biggest advantages is its ability to cure underwater, making it particularly useful for emergency repairs to tanks and other areas where draining or completely drying the component may be difficult. It also offers an impressive operating temperature range of approximately -68°C to +260°C.
