Starchem Sound Deadening Pads are high-quality self-adhesive vibration damping panels designed to reduce road noise, panel resonance, vibration, and unwanted cabin noise within vehicles. Available from Independent Paint Supplies, Starchem Sound Deadening Pads feature a heavy-duty self-adhesive backing for quick and secure installation. When gently heated with a heat gun or hot air blower, the material becomes flexible and easily conforms to body panel contours, ribbing, corners, floor pans, doors, boot floors, bulkheads, and other irregular surfaces. This ensures maximum contact and optimum sound-deadening performance.
Suitable for use on both interior and selected underbody applications, the pads can also be overpainted with automotive refinishing systems once installed, making them a versatile addition to any restoration or repair project.
