U-POL Solvent Based Degreasers are professional-grade anti-silicone panel wipes designed to effectively remove wax, grease, silicone, oil, polish residues, tar, and other contaminants prior to painting. Formulated for use in automotive refinishing, industrial coating, and bodyshop environments, these powerful solvent-based cleaners help create a perfectly clean surface, reducing the risk of paint defects and ensuring optimum coating adhesion.
Available from Independent Paint Supplies in both Fast (S2001) and Slow (S2002) variants, these high-performance degreasers allow technicians to select the most suitable evaporation rate for their working conditions, panel size, and workshop temperature. Both products are suitable for use during the preparation stages of primers, basecoats, clearcoats, direct gloss paints, and industrial coating systems.
Designed to remove contaminants quickly and efficiently, these degreasers help eliminate common paint defects such as fish eyes, craters, poor adhesion, and surface contamination. Their professional-grade formulation makes them suitable for use on properly prepared metal panels, existing paintwork, primers, and many other automotive refinishing substrates.
U-POL S2001 Fast Solvent Degreaser
Ideal for cooler workshop temperatures, smaller repair areas, and fast-paced repair environments. The rapid evaporation rate allows quick cleaning and preparation whilst minimising waiting times between stages.
U-POL S2002 Slow Solvent Degreaser
Designed for larger panels, complete vehicle repairs, and warmer workshop conditions. The slower evaporation rate provides additional working time, allowing contaminants to be removed more effectively from larger surface areas before the solvent flashes off.
